Stress: How can you reduce it?

Stress has been a very big factor in the world. Everyone has experienced irritation or anxiety, also known as stress. According to Websters dictionary, stress is a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Students from all over the globe have been experiencing these feelings on a daily basis, especially at Los Osos Middle school.  6th, 7th, and 8th graders have been experiencing these feelings due to the circumstances of finals, tests, and trying to improve their grade before the final report card gets sent out, considering it is the end of the semester. A student at LOMS, asking to be anonymous, reported "School is very stressful. Especially missing lots of classes. Teacher's seem to not notice the stress they put us all under juggling different projects and have students running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. So I would say that school is very stressful".
School is such an important part in life. It's a place to make memories and to learn new things that you never knew was possible, and being stressed all the time is definitely no appealing. Some things to do is to mediate. Meditation is the key, it relieves all anxiety and stress until you're in your little bubble and you feel relieved. Another thing you might want to think about doing is to light some incense and or light some candles. It is proven that scents can be very relaxing in a way that meditating relaxes you.
If you are a very active person, try exercising! It is a great way to blow of steam and very fitting for some people. You could also try listening or playing music if you enjoy music. Music relaxes the soul and mind and very well may help.

Heartbreaking story of Leelah(Joshua) Alcorn

On the night of December, 28th, 2014, Leelah(Joshua) Alcorn had stepped in front of a moving tractor trailer in a small town of Cincinnati in Ohio. Her suicide was noticed by across the nation. Leelah's suicide note states "The only way I'll rest in peace is if one day transgender people aren't treated the way I was," that note is what brought millions of people to notice what really was going on.
Leelah was 4 years old when she realized that something didn't feel right. After 10 years of confusion, she finally understood how she felt. She told her Mother right away that she was transgender and her Mother was extremely negative about the whole idea, considering her christian beliefs, she did not support transgender religiously. Leelah states that her parents did not give her the correct support. They put her in Christian counseling which did not help her state of mind. The famous blogger on Tumblr then posted her suicide note on her blog.
She didn't want her attempt to be another pitiful sorrow, she wanted to have attention come to the problems of transgender people. Youth Suicide Prevention Program states that over 50% of transgender teens will attempt suicide before 20 years of age. Leelah's suicide attempt has grabbed attention across the nation to this problem, it needs to be addressed. Leelah states "They're treated like humans, with valid feelings and human rights. Gender needs to be taught abut in schools, the earlier the better. My death needs to mean something".
